This is quite a statement piece! The large Australian Boulder Opal (sandstone) measures approximately 44 x 30mm, has veins of purple running through it. It is open on the back so it can catch the light as it is translucent. Tube set amethyst, smoky quartz, granulation and a dark patina complement the piece. Hung on a had woven sterling silver chain. The clasp is a domed, textured piece with an amethyst enhancement that hooks at the back. This can be worn at the back of the neck or at the side. 27” long including the clasp. Overall the focal piece measures approximately 3 x 1-3/4” including the textured bail. I am so happy with how this piece came together. Stunning!

I have never seen an opal so beautiful before! The stone actually is translucent showing all the different layers and colors! Much more beautiful in person! Again Kim has outdone herself with this gorgeous stone, beautiful setting and the custom chain!
