Ethiopian Opal in hand textured fine silver pendant

I don’t often work in PMC (fine silver clay), but this was so much fun to make. I used an antique doily to texture the clay before it was fired to a solid silver. The opal has striking flashes of orange, red and green. The opal measures approximately 12 x 8mm. The piece measures approximately 30 x 18mm and comes with a silver chain.
